Golf Course Superintendent

Wolf Hollow Golf Club, Labadie, Missouri (30-40 minutes southwest of St. Louis, MO) is hiring a golf course superintendent to be responsible for the maintenance of an 18-hole daily fee golf course. Wolf Hollow is a Gary Kern design playing from 4900 to 6800 yards. The course features Zoysia and bluegrass tees, Zoysia fairways, bentgrass greens, bluegrass/fescue roughs and a full practice facility. The course setting is one full of gorgeous country views.

The investors are committed to improving the overall course conditions and playability. Upcoming projects include rebuilding bunkers and continuing to re-sod and re-establish areas showing wear from 26 years of play. These projects will be a combination of in-house as well as contracted jobs. As such, the successful candidate must exhibit the ability to manage multiple crews and projects. The candidate should have a strong desire to improve and elevate course conditions.

The course utilizes to GPS golf carts system so as allow full control of cart traffic areas.

The superintendent is responsible for hiring, training and supervising the crew.

Individual will be responsible for preparation and adherence to the annual budget.

Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience as a superintendent or assistant.

Must have a valid chemical applicators license.

2 or 4-year degree preferred but not required.

Compensation: $80,000+/year (commensurate with experience).
