7 Jan 2025 9:05 AM | Mike Leech (Administrator)

Algonquin Golf Club, located in Glendale, Missouri, about 15 miles west of downtown St. Louis, is seeking an Equipment and Shop Manager to oversee one of St. Louis’s most prestigious clubs and state-of-the-art equipment fleets. The position is desired for a highly organized, detailed and passionate team-builder, who sees themself as an industry leader.

Algonquin Golf Club, established in 1899 in the Webster Park neighborhood of Webster Groves, Missouri, is one of the St. Louis area's oldest private country clubs. In 1903, the club relocated to its current location in Glendale, Missouri where it still resides today. The course was designed by legendary architect Tom Bendelow in 1904, initially featuring nine holes, with an additional nine added in 1914. Notably, seven of the original nine holes remain with substantially the same routing, making Algonquin one of the few clubs west of the Mississippi to occupy the same location for over a century.

Algonquin Golf Club boasts a storied history, deep-rooted traditions, and a meticulously designed course that challenges golfers of all skill levels. The 18-hole layout spans 6,222 yards from the championship tees, with a par of 71, a course rating of 69.8, and a slope rating of 131, providing a rewarding and engaging experience for players.

As a private club, Algonquin Golf Club fosters a warm, family-oriented atmosphere, creating an inviting environment where members can forge lasting relationships and lifelong connections.
