Spray Technician/2^nd Assistant 

Westborough Country Club is a private,Thomas Bendelow Designed,18-hole golf clublocated inthe Historic Kirkwood/Webster area of St. Louis, Missouri.  WCC is currently seeking a full-timeSpray Technician/2^nd Assistant to join a well-seasoned golf turf management team.  Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.    

In this position, you will work closely with the Director of Agronomy and Golf Course Superintendent.  This position will set you up for career advancement within WCC and lay a foundation for becoming a First Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.  

Education and/or Experience and Special Skills 

• 2-4 year degreepreferred from an accredited institution. 

• Candidate must be willing to work six days a week, one weekend day-shift and holidays during the golfing season. 

• Must be able to work within a team environment, communicate efficiently with staff, management, membership, and guests. 

• Have a strong desire to advance in the golf maintenance profession. 

• Have experience with pesticide application, calibrating sprayers and spreaders and basic knowledge of current pesticide products.  

• Candidate shouldpossess Missouri Cat 3 pesticide applicator license. 

• Ability to perform physical labor in all weather conditions. 

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards. 

• Ability to assist Director of Agronomy and GCS with daily maintenance and management of the golf course and staff. 

• Ability to lead staff and manage weekend shifts.
