Birch Creek Golf Club (revised job posting 1/14/26)

Birch Creek Golf Club, established in 2003, is a public golf club on Historic Route US 66 in the southwest portion of the St. Louis golf market. BCGC is routinely rated in the top tier of public courses in the region. BCGC is constantly working to improve the golf experience for its very loyal customer base. BCGC is player friendly for all golfers as well as being a fair test for the best players in the area. The grounds staff is being upgraded to meet the need for excellent routine maintenance and project completion taking BCGC to the next level. Hosting local and regional championships is on the horizon. These positions will be essential to meeting that goal. These positions offer growth potential and advancement.

Assistant Superintendent:

** Assist the Superintendent with all daily tasks, crew training, and supervision

** Be prepared to assume Superintendent duties on occasion as required

** Assist with irrigation management, project coordination and planning

** Communicate with Pro Shop as needed to properly schedule operations

** Attain and train additional skills through educational and OTJ opportunities

Salary and Benefits will be within market levels depending upon education and work experience Degree or Certificate is helpful, but we will train the right applicant

Salary, Health and Dental, Annual Bonus are included as well as some clothing/gear

Professional association dues, course fees, and licenses fully encouraged and paid

Irrigation Technician:

** Maintain pipe, wire, sprinkler heads, and valves in the field

** Help monitor and adjust central controller and pump station settings

** Coordinate and supervise crew at hand watering

** Perform other operations as needed including all mowing and grooming functions

Hourly pay and full benefits included. Initial pay dependent upon previous experience.

Pay scale will advance as skill level is demonstrated. This is a vital position given high priority.

Full Time Crew Members: (seasonal full time also available)

** Operate mowers and grooming equipment as needed and assigned

** Help with projects and other maintenance areas of the course and grounds

** Must be able to work independently or as part of a team assignment
